Mr Splodge provided Lawney Hill with a 13th winner of the campaign matching her previous best total for a season, with a visit to Wales still to come to better that mark. Meanwhile John Trice-Rolph was relieved to get off the mark for 2005 aboard Rockfield Lane, thus protecting his 20 season winning streak. All that, a deadheat, a Julian Pritchard double and a Draghound race! A fine season finale for Kingston Blount
