A bumper entry for the May meeting,up 60 on last year produced
another great days entertainment for a large crowd. Reward
for the efforts of Alan Hill and his team who prepared the
course to a high enough standard to draw entries away from
Garthorpe and elsewhere. Decisions swayed by the good ground.
The day was most notable for the course debut of Polly Gundry
who bagged a double on the day, 13 years after she first
visited to lead up. In this form I hope it won't be 13 years
between visits next time.
